Greetings San Diego stargazers!
Join us for the brightest meteor shower of the year as the Geminids Meteor Shower lights up the night sky. Not only will the sky be active with up to 120 shooting stars per hour, but the planets Jupiter and its Great Red Spot, Saturn and its flat ring system, Neptune and Uranus will also join the stargazing party. After visiting a few planets throughout the night, we will modify the telescope to view deep space structures that stretch thousands of light-years across such as nebulae and even galaxies.
Because the moon won't be visible during the event, expect to be in a dark location with a sky full of stars. In this unique experience our modern telescopes, astronomy cameras, and dedicated Astronerd Tour Guide will all ensure that your night under the stars will be unforgettable.
