Greetings San Diego stargazers!
Join us for one final stargazing experience as we say farewell to the summer of 2026. We are expecting clear skies on Saturday with a whole inventory of celestial targets to explore — from planets, colorful nebulae, and shiny star clusters, to the moon and far away galaxies. This is the weekend you do not want to miss!
Two sessions are available on the evening of Saturday, September 19th:
🔭 Session 1: 8:30 – 10:15 PM (families & children welcome)
🔭 Session 2: 10:30 PM – 12:15 AM (adults only)
Because the 1st quarter moon will be visible during the event, expect a mildly illuminated location with a sky full of stars. Our modern telescopes, astronomy cameras, and your dedicated AstroNerd Stargazing Guide (Gregory Jauregui) will ensure your experience under the night sky is truly unforgettable.

Public Stargazing Session
- Get lost in wonder with the cratered surface of the 1st quarter moon.
- Witness the stunning beauty of the Milky Way Galaxy and a sky full of stars.
- The planets Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune will be visible and 2 telescopes will be set up for you to experience them.
